Oops I Did It Again!!

Yes that's correct, I made a Brittany Spears reference. I hope that is how you spell her name.  Anywho's I have accidentally had two posts deleted and I didn't save a thing about them so bear with me. My third and final Kansas post will be up eventually. I am very aware of how behind I am but I promise I am working on it.  In the same vein, I had done my first wine diary post. That is also gone forever. But c'est la vie, the show must go on. Tonight as I enjoy the moments of being in Burgundy I have the enjoyment of drinking several wines that I will expound upon (hopefully?) soon.

We ate at the first, the only place if I am being honest, that was open and serving food.  I am usually leery about restaurants near tourist spots but we were starving and they were serving.   Au Bureau fit the bill perfectly.  I feel that having a lot of what some would call southern influence on our food preferences, Frank and I were delighted by a sandwich offer they had.  If you order a burger there, you can have it between potato pancakes aka galette de pommes de terre.  I would hate to neglect the most important part, you get your choice of sauce/gravy.  They did us real well.  You can also do a Leffe sampler tray which is also tres bonne.

This is a very cute display from Au Bureau right in front of Notre-Dame en Reims.  The cathedral was undergoing a light face lift while we were there.
